Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
Memorial for fallen officers all across the country, held in Oklahoma City. It is with honor that we had 2 deputies this year in attendance for our fallen Deputy, Jarid Taylor. Not only is this an example to these young men and women of the dangers they and all face in this line of work, but they will also share in the camaraderie this line offers as they continue the fight for public safety. We thank our deputies today and during their travels for taking the time to represent our county and our fallen. Thank you, Lt Burrola and Deputy Williamson, for your attendance.
